Nak cari tempat makan best kat Taiping?












This time,lets go outside from Penang and go to Taiping.I've seen many food programs gave their highlights to Mee Udang Kuala Sepetang.So i tried.On the way to Kuala Sepetang town,you may see a lot of Mee Udang's warung and signborad.So you can choose whichever you like.Myself,I tried Mak Jah coz my friend told me that is the best.Here is some info I can share.


  • Location:Kuala Sepetang(on the way to Kuala Sepetang town,you may see a lot of Mee Udang warung and its signboard). Mudah je nak kesini.

  • Serving: Local food but specialized in Mee Udang

  • Budget:MYR11 (mee udang special)

  • Operation:daily from noon onwards

  • capacity:approx 150 people





  • parking:provided



  • Childseat:provided



  • Toilet:I couldn't find but you can use Surau's toilet nearby



  • My good comment: Deserve to be one of the best food in Perak.Full with prawns.The prawns was fresh and the skin is soft.



  • Room for improvement:I don't like the kuah.Aziz Mee Pak Ngah Sungai Dua kuah is much better.But taste is subjective.different people,different taste.I was surprised when saw cabbage,carrot & etc inside the kuah.

Pasembor Padang Kota Lama

To be frank my wife taste is a different from me. I've been raised in different states and countries and tried a varieties of food. But not for her which were born and solely raised in Kuantan. So mamak's food, pasembur and other things is not match with her. May be the mamak's restaurant she tried had a horrible taste and traumatized her until today.Only this time I managed to convince her to try Pasembor Padang Kota Lama....after almost 10 years we settled down in Penang. Parking is available and its depend on time. If you arrive at peak time"4pm~7pm" most probably you will find its hard to find a parking.  We came at 2:30pm and the place is quite empty. Most of people want to seat near to the sea including me so we can hear the wave sound.  There are a lot of stalls selling passembor and I chose Hussain this time because its the nearest to my seat. 1 chose 2 cucur udang, 1 crab, 1 potato,1 tauhu and 1 dried tauhu then I passed to for the next process.  They wil...

Chang Puak Camp, Hatyai

Antara aktiviti yang popular di Hatyai adalah menaiki gajah. Aktiviti ni boleh dilakukan di Chang Puak Camp(GPS: 7.056423, 100.511626) yg terletak lebih kurang 5km dari Hatyai Icedome menghala ke Songhkla. Beroperasi setiap hari bermula dari pukul 8am hingga 5pm waktu Thailand. Selain itu, aktiviti menaiki menunggang ATV dan BB gun shooting juga disediakan.  Harga tiket adalah THB500 utk dewasa dan THB250 utk kanak2. Seekor gajah boleh dinaiki oleh dua orang sahaja. Selain itu anda juga akan diminta sama ada nak beli makanan utk gajah atau tak. Selalunya orang beli la. Sebakul pisang dijual THB100. Ada beberapa staff boleh berbahasa melayu so no problem. Makanan gajah boleh diberi sebelum atau selepas kita naik gajah.  Masa yg diberi adalah 30min melalui jungle trek yg disediakan.
